The short version. Gold Rush has no account system, no first-party analytics and no game server. Your games, settings and career results stay on your device. Versions that show ads use Google AdMob, whose software collects some device and usage information to deliver, measure and protect advertising.

What Gold Rush stores

Gold Rush stores your game state, settings, Claim Journal information and career statistics locally on your device. We do not operate a Gold Rush account database or analytics service, and this gameplay information is not transmitted to us.

Advertising

Versions of the app that contain advertising display banner ads supplied by Google AdMob. Google's advertising software may collect and process information including:

your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location
device identifiers, such as an advertising identifier or app-set identifier
app interaction data, such as app launches, taps and ad views
diagnostic and performance information

This information is handled by Google under Google's terms and privacy policies. Gold Rush does not run its own advertising profile or analytics database. We may see aggregated advertising reports such as impression totals and revenue, rather than your game history or personal profile.

Purchases

Where offered, the one-time Remove Ads purchase is processed by the platform store (Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not receive your payment-card details. The app checks the store-provided entitlement so it can hide the banner after purchase and restore that entitlement when supported by the store.

Online play on Apple platforms

On Apple platforms, if you choose to play an online game against a friend, the match is carried by Apple Game Center. Apple handles your Game Center identity and move delivery. We do not operate a multiplayer server and do not receive your Apple ID. This section does not apply to Android versions that do not offer Game Center play.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can use the advertising and privacy controls provided by your device and platform account.
Where the Remove Ads purchase is offered, buying it disables the in-app banner for the corresponding store entitlement.
Deleting the app or clearing its local data removes the gameplay information stored on that device.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects data handling, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
